Devon Mihesuah
Devon Mihesuah is an enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and is a Chickasaw descendant. She is the Cora Lee Beers Price Professor at the University of Kansas and the author of dozens of award winning books and essays. She holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has been a lifeguard, distance runner, musher, skijorer, gun salsperson, cook, high school biology and physics teacher, and swimming, basketball, cross country, and tennis coach. She lives in Baldwin City with her husband Josh and children Toshaway and Ariana.
